1) Your Journey as an Author…..According to my mother, since I was six I used to tell lies to her all the time. After whooping me within an inch of my life, as a further punishment I had to write the lie down and then come back and retell her the lie so I could be embarrassed. My pain turned into my passion and I stopped lying (which now I have very little friends), but I write down my lies all the time (and get paid for it.) Thanks Momma.

2) What reading means to you…..Reading means a way for me to go where no one else can go. Only can see those images as I read and I can relax into the bliss of my imagination. Reading means strength. I exercise my brain as I take in each word, making the muscle remember words, sentences and phrases, while I learn new and exciting things.

3) Whats next for you…..To write more, of course, and to create more book chats for my readers so they may interact with me on the over 37 novels I’ve written. I continue to be an active blogger and in the Metro Detroit area, I’m referred to as “A Literary Diva” by Detroit City Council and donned “Cliffhanger Queen” by my readers, I find solace in speaking and educating on a variety of topics. Subjects range from Social Media, Internet Marketing, Creative Intimacy, Single Parenting, Blogging, E-Books, Publishing (all aspects i.e.: writing, publishing, marketing & promoting online & offline), with inspiration mixed in.

  1. Indeed my first fictions at a very young age where stories I made up concerning who I was and what had happened to me. In that context adults labelled my stories as “lies” but I saw them as fictional story telling.
